Here we are by the looks of it at the end of the line all the parts work we are getting a enclosure for the output box as it cannot be plastic as I had thought it could be. Sent out to have the steel one made should be here by monday all painted and rust proof. Turns out we have a EM feild in the plastic box in the 90 - 105khz range was over 1 km away still strong and that is a no no.

 

We had a great monday as all the network in the office was down due to a major power failure in the area over the weekend. Thus why if you called monday we could not answer the phones till late in the day.

 

I am looking at permit for ongrid problems now as we have 2 permits for customers out at OPA and there stuck. Seems OPA got hit with more then they could handle. Both installs for ongrid will take place in end of June.

 

Don is going to have this week off due to a family matter send a email and he will get back to you next week.

 

Im off to the USA for a meeting on Friday to develope a new Unit and package for Cell phones and also a small (under 100 watt unit for portable units) also will be looking at the location for the USA plant when im down there. As well we can start talks to get into the USA for our 10 K ongrid units.

 

Once i have the cover next week i can get the balance of my testing out of the way and we can move forward on production. We can start to crank out here as the cambridge plant comes on line.

Well here we are a year down the road and we got it all the problems are near solved

 

(great group we have working on it now) we have the guys working on the computer

 

system to control the fact the unit will over charge.  We have to get the sensors all in

 

place and the new boards done it seems the world is ready.

 

A few places have signed deals for our units to fit into Solar systems for here in Ontario.

 

Never would have figured that it would be 3 years from the start to finish and ready for

 

the assembly line. The new digital boards we got from a supplier here in canada are

 

making the computer hooked a snap.

Posted a new Video over at  www.youtube.com with the new controller testing.

 

As well we are getting ready to see the passage of the Green Energy Act.

 

We are also now entering into a contract for 25 MW of projects in Windsor t

 

hat should come on line just before Xmas. Our new controller will be here within the next 2 weeks.

 

The new controller makes the setup of the unit easy.

 

Dragons den will be back in here in the next 30 days to shoot a update for the show.

 

New coils on the bench now and doing a bit of testing looking like a single

 

new coil can output a total of 2000 V @ 100 amps. This coil will not go into production

 

for a few months with more testing it will be a candidate for the new portable unit.

 

Looking at a few processes as well as to see if we can streamlined as well we are

 

dealing with setup the new plant and getting all the production equipment sourced as well as looking for employees.

 

 

 

8 - 13 - 09

 

Today we had a visit and we got a look at the new drive board it neds a bit more work but within 2 weeks

 

we will have a few boards for testing before we ship. The new coil is looking good as it has 2000 volts

 

in the circuit and 200 plus amps. it is also smaller so it can be part of the new portable. we are waiting

 

for a shippment of the new coils and then we can test and release.

 

we blew up a new timing board with a back pulse was 2000 volt dump into a 12 volt battery then

 

we had a fire and a board melted see youtube video

03 - 20 - 09

 

After a few days of testing we have got a working timing system. 

 

I will be building boards next week and clearing all the back orders.

 

The new unit has a flyback coil to fire the power into the coils to

 

make the magnets produce there power.

 

We are going to display the unit at the green show in Canton NY. 

 

 I will be there to see all the locals as well if you pop by the booth and say hi.

 

Unit will be on display in toronto at the greenliving show !!!  (we will not have a booth there )

 

 New packaging will be coming as we are working with UPS

 

to make sure the unit gets to its destination without damage.

 

I hope to get back onto the portable design in the next few weeks as i want a 2000 Watt portable out soon. 

 

 

 

 4-16-09

 

 Ok so things are some what back to normal, 7 days in bed was just no fun !

 

I have a few people haelping me on the timing system and we are close to getting it to run like we want

 

We have put all the shipments on hold so we can release the units with a good and stable timing system in the unit 

 

The last one was running but we stall out and cause the coils to burn out.

 

We are now using a flyback to drive the coils and are working on the size of flyback we need to make the unit run stable.

 

Don will be back in the office at the end of the week and will be calling resellers.

 

The new 12 k inverter got delivered and was dammaged in shiping.  We are waiting for more stock to show up. 

 

 

 

 

 

04-07-09

 

New timing device is real cool !  After getting a good jolt off it, im back on track.  I spent the day making sub boards.

 

With my new suboard i can isolate the 2 feilds and not have to worry about a short or feed back on the mains.

 

Tested the new assembly for 24 hours and they are stable.  Also, I put the units in runaway mode to see what will happen.

 

I will have to look at a better way to do the timing boards as it will make my life easy.  Until i find the right supplier, I will build these boards in my shop.

 

We are also getting dealer calls and I am interviewing them with Don.  We are also getting ready for the 2 shows, Toronto and Canton New York.

 

I wonder what the crowds will be like from both these shows, anyway hope all is well in your worlds and on we go.

 

4-19-09

 

ok we are shipping out units now and are playing catch up. 

 

We have a new birth in the lab, its a boy, 10 lbs.

 

It runs ok, we have no oil in the unit so it can be used anywhere. 

 

Green living show is 5 days away and I'm thinking it will be a big one for us !

 

We will have the new boy at the show running if everything checks out ok. 

 

When you go in the front door we are right there, from what I was told.

 

I will be at the awards show thursday night and will be around on friday for a bit in Toronto. 

 

I will be talking about magnets on Saturday in Canton NY.

 

We are going to take the  match to the portable.  See it run in the USA if you want !!!!!

 

Other news I have heard from the ear to the ground.

 

70 cents a KW for up to 10 MW in the brownfeilds. 

 

Yes, seems like we will be putting our units in as soon as we can get the permits on dirty property.

 

80 cents for 10 KW and under res. maybe its going to be a good deal to buy 2 units after all ?

 

on and off grid so you can get $ 66,000.00 a year back ? 

 

We are working on a deal to offer an ongrid setup now. 

 

What would you pay for a 9 KW solar ongrid system minus the batteries.?

Well here it is Xmas break and myself and all the team here at Magnacoaster are wishing you

 

a happy and healthy new year and Xmas. We will be closed from the 18th to the 4th of January

 

so as we can get some family time in.

may 15 - 09

 

Ok this has been a week of adventure we spent the week all with a flu like bug as it turns out we charged the battery and the gasses were in the office and making us sick. As it also turns out there is a problem with deep cycle batteries and some chargers. if you have deep cycle batteries make sure you have a charger to charge them. also warning if you are charging a battery and it gets hot and smells like rotten eggs then its bad.

also make sure that you charge in a vetalated area as the gas will linger and make you sick. we had to make a air box to put the batteries in so as to clear the gas out of the shop. if you plan to have these in your home you have to have this. my plan is not to have the batteries in the home at all and to put them to the outsde of the house. if you plan to put this in your home i would think you may want to look at the building outside.

we were due to have a delivery as of right now i have not seen the parts or got a phone call so i have no coils in my shop so i am a few days behind. i have some people comming in to air out my shop this weekend so we can get the rest of the gas out of the shop. if you happen to poison your body drink water and get air.
